Best Dressed at the 2010 Emmy Awards

The 'Mad Men' beauties, January Jones (in Atelier Versace), Elisabeth Moss (in Donna Karen) and Christina Hendricks (in Zac Posen), all score full marks on the red carpet, as they all work their different body shapes, assets and personal style, with no one shrinking into the background as they all look so happy, confident and beautiful.

Claire Danes looked, literally, dazzling! From her glowing skin, to her perfectly highlight bouffant to her deliciously sparkly, yet simple and elegant, Armani Prive column dress. I L.O.V.E this look!

Everyone who's a regular reader will know I'm a bit in love with this pint-sized Glee lady, and that's she's my 'red carpet one to watch'. Lea Michele did not disappoint me at the Emmys with her beautifully dramatic Oscar de la Renta dress, which suits her petite frame and insures she stands out without looking desperate for attention *cough* Naya Rivera *cough*.

Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter kept things simple like Claire Danes and let her sparkle do the talking in this pewter one shouldered beauty. Jennifer's character in 'Dexter' is very manly and un-glam, so I'm so glad she upped the style stakes and went 'Old Hollywood' with her Emmy look. She has the figure and the height, so why the hell not cover yourself in sequins?!

Maria Menounos gave a lesson in 'How to Show Skin without looking Trampy or Under-dressed', and completely schooled Blake Livey. Apparently, fifteen thousand Swarovski crystals covered this Ralph & Russo couture dress. This drool-worthy cut-out and backless dress fits like a glove and Maria complimented the dress beautifully with very polished, classic hair, make-up and accessories.

Did I miss anyone who really should have made the list? (I loved Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera, but can't look at that picture any more - it's everywhere!)
