SS 2011 Press Days - Dust PR and Fashion Press Week

On Wednesday I had a *full* day of press days, including Dust PR and the fantastic Fashion Press Week. I laughed in the face of TFL and their tube strikes and after numerous buses, dodging tourists on Oxford Street and running (a lot) made it to all my appointments (pats self on back).

First up was Dust PR, where I got to look through the SS 2011 collections for LNA, Wildfox, Irregular Choice and Rebecca Minkoff. Wildfox was, as ever, fantastic, with a clever use of luxe embellishment to complement the Marie Antoinette candy coloured collection with a clever military twist.

LNA injected some gorgeous colour after it's AW 2010 collection that was entirely monochrome, and played with proportion and draping, which I love.

Irregular choice was as good as ever with a colourful collection, but my stand out favourites were the winged metallic court shoes.

Rebecca Minkoff's beautiful muted bronze and gold colour palette mixed with nudes was so pretty, and such amazing quality. The wedges with cut out detailing were my favourites.

My next stop of the day was the new concept, Fashion Press Week, which was held at the very beautiful Saatchi Gallery. This genius idea was put together to allow press to attend multiple brands press days and events in one go, in one central London location. There was a huge selections of brands involved, and the entire operation was slick, professional and beautifully displayed and organised. Click here to view the full list of brands that attended. I sadly didn't manage to get around the entire event, but I did manage to see and speak to White Stuff, Fat Face, Mikey, Anonymous Ross + Bute and Superdry.

Superdry put on an amazing display at the event and had the largest and most prominent pitch on the ground floor. Loved the layout and interactive displays (especially the rusted old pick up truck).

Mikey had their typical large and statement making pieces of jewellery, but also had a selection of delicate charm necklaces and friendship bracelets that I feel head over heels for. The PR on the stand was also so lovely and asked permission to add me to the mailing list - very impressed!

The collection and brand that stole my heart on the day was the knitwear brand, Anonymous Ross + Bute. It caught my eye immediately and I was smitten with the sailor theme that ran throughout the collection. This season they expanded their selection and have introduced more dresses. It had a whimsical, almost doll like feel to it and I am now a huge fan!

Finally, here's a look at my a-maz-ing messy bun, as created by the very lovely Fadi from Lockonego, during my pamper session in the Pandora suite. Think I deserved a bit of pampering after all that!
