The Liberty Love Wall

I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, it's too much pressure. Whether you're free as a bird or coupled up, the whole day is focused on being insanely romantic (whether you want to or not) and couples trying to out-do other couples with their 'love'. I can't think of anything worse than being crammed in a crappy restaurant, bashing elbows with a couple either eating each others faces or ignoring each other (which is worse?).

This doesn't mean I'm not a believer in romance or love. I believe that you should show someone that you care 365 days a year, not just 1 (2 if you count anniversaries, I guess). Which is why I L-O-V-E what Liberty have done.

Introducing The Liberty Love Wall. Complete with paper and pens, you can write a love letter to anyone, anywhere and 'post it' to your love (or Ryan Reynolds). I love the old fashioned romance of a love letter, and it's very 'Juilet's Wall' in Verona. Pure romance and not an overpriced Steak or crappy teddy bear in sight.

You’ll find the wall in the entrance between Kingly Street and Great Marlborough Street.

  1. Ahh I'm so glad you liked it! I actually worked as a Visual Merchandiseer at Liberty at the time and got to read the love messages! They were really beautiful and heart wrenching at times! Im also glad your shot it when the paper was nicely placed on the table and not a mess haha thanks!

  2. I really loved this idea, such old school romance. The images are actually ones Liberty took (could explain why it's so neat and tidy!). Would have loved to have read some of the notes. Cx

♥ Love it or hate it, tell me what you think ♥
