London Fashion Week A/W 2011 - Ashley Isham

There's always something delightfully dramatic about an Ashley Isham show. His A/W 2011 show at London Fashion Week yesterday did not disappoint. From the chop stick, tulle and flower head pieces to the luxe red carpet worthy dresses, the designer always demonstrates an East meets West collection that's part femme fatale, part Bond girl.

This collection included a first for me - I saw the first 'Mullet Dress' I actually liked. A big trend on the catwalk and red carpet last season had been given a more subtle twist and I was a fan. The stand out pieces of the collection for me however were the draped jersey dresses, whose volume and movement came alive to create a beautiful silhouette when on the catwalk.

And yes, that is Paloma Faith you can see in most of the pics (and her great red hat). She was one of many celebs I seemed to be following from show to show yesterday.
