A Right Royal Party at Time²

Regular readers will now know about my watch addiction. I'm a firm believer that a watch can finish off any outfit and really make a statement, so I LOVE the Time² blogger events. With a gorgeous shop on Covent Gardens Long Acre, the blogger events include a talk about all the latest watch trends and are always themed to the current Zeitgeist or trends.

As this event took place before Easter, it was themed for the right royal nuptials of Wills & Kate, celebrating the happy couple and all things British - from Burberry and Victoria Sponge to Mods and pocket watches.

The iconic Old England designs, with Union Jack faces really stood out and had a fun Mod theme, while bright watch straps have now taken a back seat to muted colours and pastels (the ballerina pink Guess watch was a personal favourite).

As ever, my Michael Kors addiction isn't letting up and the square faced rose gold watch (pictured below, bottom right) has most definitely caught my eye and found it's way onto my wish list.

Here's a video of the event and your chance to listen to the trend talk. Please don't listen to carefully to what I'm saying, I had had quite a bit of Champagne by then (which I shall blame Wolfwhistle Amy for!).

  1. you looked so cute- and what a lovely idea! :)

  2. Thanks Susan! It was a really lovely event - and did you notice the photo of Grace Kelly? They knew who she'd be emulating on the day before we did! Cx
